Manipulations and Mobilizations

A manipulation, or adjustment, is a small, fast movement directed at a specific joint with the intention of creating motion in that joint. This will decrease pain and stiffness on the joint, improving mobility and restoring function. You may hear an audible pop or crack during the adjustment; this is normal, it is simply gas escaping from the joint.

A mobilization is similar to an adjustment but it does not include the thrust. Dr. Donald will take the joint to its end-range of motion and apply oscillating movements in order to increase that joint's motion.

Dr. Donald has been trained to effectively provide mobilizations & manipulations to all joints of the body.
